Anubias barteri var nana ‘Gold’ on Root

Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Gold’ on Root is a striking and low-maintenance aquatic plant ideal for adding a splash of colour and texture to aquascapes. Its broad, heart-shaped leaves have a unique golden-green hue that contrasts beautifully with darker plants and hardscape elements. Mounted on natural driftwood, this epiphytic plant is ready to place straight into your aquarium no planting required. It attaches firmly to the wood over time, creating a mature, natural look thats perfect for both beginners and seasoned aquascapers.

This hardy Anubias variety thrives in low to medium light and doesn’t require CO injection, making it a popular choice for low-tech setups. It grows slowly, which helps keep maintenance minimal and algae at bay, especially when placed in shaded areas of the tank. The ‘Gold’ variety adds a warm, eye-catching highlight without overwhelming the layout. Just ensure the rhizome stays above the substrate to prevent rot though when its pre-attached to wood like this, that parts already taken care of.
